The Chimney Sweep Nutcracker

The Chimney Sweep is the second in the Steinbach Collector's Club Nutcracker Series. The Chimney Sweep has always been a popular image throughout the History of Nutcrackers. In terms of collecting nutcrackers, the Chimney Sweep is of high importance. According to European folklore, the Chimney Sweep brings good fortune to those who house him. His ladybug friend, who is perched on his hat, is also considered a symbol of good luck.

This six inch mini nutcracker is ready to work with his pinecone brush and ladder. His charming uniform is adorned with gold buttons and red epaulets.

The Forester Nutcracker

The Forester was the third in the Steinbach Collector's Club Nutcracker Series and was introduced in 1998. The Forester plays a very meaningful role in the production of the nutcrackers. Without the expert advice and planning of the Forester, the balance of the forests as well as the creation of the nutcrackers could not be achieved.

In a charming green cloak with a feather in his cap, the Forester carries a stick as well as a basket of mushrooms. His mushrooms are a symbol of luck that guides his path with good fortune. The Forester is a highly trained and educated individual who calculates the precise extraction of the trees from the forests in order to preserve their balance and harmony. He insures that the exact tree is removed at the right moment in order to achieve his goal. Since this character plays such an important role, Steinbach decided to create a nutcracker in his honor.

The Bavarian Beer Drinker (ES2003) Nutcracker

The Bavarian Beer Drinker (ES2003) Nutcracker was the fourth in the Steinbach Collector's Club Nutcracker Series. This jolly Bavarian fellow is a traditional figure from German history. Bavaria is the largest state in the Federal Republic of Germany and has always been the center of German art and craftsmanship. Descendants of medieval craftsman, in the area, to this day still produce items such as cuckoo clocks, Christmas toys and other handiwork products. The city of Munich in Bavaria is home of the famous Oktoberfest, a sixteen day festival which attracts tourists worldwide.

In his traditional lederhosen with authentic suspenders and a green felt hat, the Bavarian Beer Drinker is a picture of merriment for Oktoberfest. As a symbol of German heritage and folklore, the Bavarian Beer Drinker nutcracker is a perfect choice for the mini club in 1999.

The Black Forest Clockmaker nutcracker was the fifth in the Steinbach Collector's Club Nutcracker Series. This industrious little chap is a typical figure from the Black Forest in Germany. In addition there is an abundance of maple, ash, birch, walnut, oak and beech trees that provide wonderful woodworking possibilities for occupants of this area. In these mountains there are several manufacturing towns as well. Popular occupations here include lumbering, papermaking, woodworking and of course the manufacturing of watches, cuckoo clocks and other mechanical toys.

The reign of Franconia (also known as the land of the Franks) was a medieval German region chiefly east of the Rhine River in the valley of Main Germany. The Little King of Franconia is a charming sovereign and an important addition to your mini Collector’s Club Nutcracker Gift Series.
